My original art on ACEOs

small format art sized 2.5" x 3.5"

like trading cards, but when you sell them they are called ACEOs, (Art Cards, Editions and Originals). When you 'trade' them, they are called ATCs, (Art Trading Cards)

The first ACEO I ever created was this one, called 'FUZZY FEET'. It was created for an art group 'art challenge' which I joined at Ebay, many years ago!

The group was called AA& E, (ATC & ACEO Enthusiasts) and it was headed by Jillian Crider. She was the main founder of the term and art of ACEOs.

I used to paint gourds!

I've painted many of these lovely wooden boxes, on the glass!

You have to paint from the very front of something to the back. So, the centers went on first, along with vines and leaves, then flower petals, then background. I used clear crackle medium first, on very clean glass. Makes a great effect!
