AUTUMN SIGNS

Every August I say this, it's August Autumn!! Not only because the birds have already started gathering, the plants are turning, leaves are already turning on some trees and the mornings and evenings are cooler, it's in the air!

This is the best time of the year too! The colors, all those beautiful rich fall tones of sunflower golds, forest greens, deep browns, acorn browns, rust reds, it's just a delight all around. From the plants to the clothing, the food is even better because now we start cooking rich stews and gravy dishes, preparing for winter. And oh, the flowers! Marigolds and mums! My favorite time of year!
