I don't have a Facebook account so I am not exactly sure if they have changed the cover banner dimensions or not! This was created some time ago but I am imagining that it is still fine to use for your Halloween Facebook page!

OH JOY! DESIGNING FOR FALL, IT'S FINALLY HERE AND I'M READY FOR IT!

STARTING with Halloween, of course, my most favorite spooky time of the year, then Thanksgiving and then the BIG one, CHRISTMAS! I'm looking forward to creating some bold and exciting designs, gotta compete with Ai art, I guess. Blech!

I heard a man talking at the dollar store yesterday and he was talking to another man about how they have Halloween product to put out ALREADY! I laughed to myself. We artists usually design six months or more in advance for every holiday and event! IF we aren't procrastinators, like me!

So, trying to come up with something new and unique for my shops. I've got my Spoonflower Halloween fabrics created already. I may make some more repeating designs. For sure I'll be making some stickers, never enough STICKERS!!

HOLIDAY SEASON IS HERE!

Soooo, are you ready for ALL of the holidays?

I'm sure you have your Halloween decorations out. As soon as that is over, you'll put up your Thanksgiving or Christmas decor, right? Or you do you have it all up already?

I would like to decorate for Thanksgiving and Christmas at the same time so I don't have to take anything down until after the new year arrives. That is when I take down my tree. I keep thinking that I'd like a tree that stays up all year long!

Seriously, Thanksgiving is my favorite time to decorate for. I love all the harvested pumpkins, dried flowers and wildflowers. I could have this out all year long!

It's only October and I'm thinking about the new year, wow! Already???? Woa, I'm gonna back up! I don't even have any Halloween decorations out!

No! I don't think I'd wallpaper anything with these crazy cats for Halloween, even if it is 'peel and stick' paper! Find this fun pattern and more for Halloween at my Spoonflower shop!

Ok, here it is. We are in HALLOWEEN mode. Everyone is either decorating already, buying treats already, sprucing up the front yard already or creating something to sell already. I think Halloween is the biggest holiday of all!

Are you one of those people who thinks it should be Halloween only in October, on the 31st? Or are you one of those people who does Halloween ALL year long? Actually, I love that! I could have been like that in my younger days, LOL! But now, I barely decorate and do not dress up anymore. But I do love seeing people's homes and decor and how they dress when they are goth and dark all the time. It's interesting, and some are quite beautiful!

Sadly, nobody comes to our house anymore. I don't think kids 'trick 'r treat' like they used to. They only go to places that are quite populated or to special functions, for safety reasons. Our house is at the edge of town and is one of only three houses nearby, and those people don't give out candy. So, our house stays dark, no porch light on. 

I used to go to the spooky house that gave out huge candy bars to everyone, just to see everyone dressed up! I like to see all the costumes, I think it's great fun! But, the spooky house which is owned by a woman who is a famous author in our town, doesn't do that anymore. Must have gotten quite expensive, those candies were at least a dollar a piece!

When it's warm, I ride my moped up town, around the town to see kids dressed up. This year I may just go to the corn maze on Halloween night, that should be fun.
